Every year, Riris, a little flamingo, visits the Akrotiri Salt Lake with his family. He loves splashing and playing in the lake's waters, until one day a loud BANG! changes everything.

With his big heart and determination, little Riris finds a way to help protect the endangered birds and animals that call the Akrotiri area their home.

The Diary with the theme Jungle was inspired by the project from the kindergaten at Ayios Athanasios. The wall murals of the kindergarten are captured and printed in every month. The whole note book is written in two languages (Greek/English) throughout, in as close a translation as possible.
